TRADING EMISSION RIGHTS FOR EUROS
Would you trade your precious CO2 emission allowances for mere money? The Greek Treasury, is negotiating to sell the rights to emit one million allowances for 17 million euros. That represents one ton of CO2 per allowance. Is there a certain unreality to this transaction?
