P-E Barack Obama hopes to calm a public wary of wild-ass government spending right after he breaks the bank with what will start out as a $775 billion spending spree to jolt the economy into its tamer mode. He’s going to destroy it to save it. Government thinking.

Obama laments the terrible debt we have to run up, but he wants to do it anyway. Don’t you hate to see a grown crocodile cry? He loves to spend. He’s going to be the spendingest president ever. Mark my words. The only thing I like about his program of insane debt, destruction of the dollar, and a Civilian Security Force to keep the natives in line, is that it probably won’t blow up until he is out of office and I am dead for good.

So we will just hock the future to get us over this particular problem. That’s what we’ve always done. I wonder how much of the future can we consume before the future comes up and bites us. I think I see his plan. We break the budget, but not the 2009 budget or the 2010 budget. We break the budgets starting in 2021 or 2045. Then it’s the responsibility of those snotty kids of yours –and theirs. Teach them responsibility and discipline (hah!). They’re going to need it. Good thing we don’t.
